This painting of Sunshine in watercolor was painted loosely on a cotton canvas panel. Watercolor paint on canvas reacts differently than watercolor on paper and challenges the artist to paint spontaneously. The finished painting has been sprayed with a light fixative. Glazing (glass) is not required over watercolor on canvas but may be used if desired.
